Sandee Cohen

After a long career in advertising, Sandee Cohen began teaching computer graphics in 1990. She has taught for New York University, New School University, the University of Hawaii, City College in New York, as well as many private organizations. A dynamic and entertaining speaker, she has been a frequent participant at Barrycon events such as the InDesign and Creative Suite conferences, and Macworld Expo. She is the author of all versions of the InDesign Visual Quickstart Guide as well as co-author of Real World Adobe Creative Suite 2. She has also written books on Fireworks, FreeHand, Illustrator, and desktop publishing


Lori DeFurio

Adobe Systems, Inc.

Lori DeFurio has been involved with Adobe Acrobat for over eleven years at Adobe, first as a systems engineer involved with the sales team, then as the Acrobat/PDF technical evangelist. Currently, she heads up the Acrobat Enablement Team. In addition to writing an informative blog at blogs.adobe.com/loridefurio and an ongoing column at www.acrobatusers.com, Lori travels around the world, speaking at conferences, workshops, and Acrobat User Groups. Prior to joining Adobe, Lori served as a technical consultant at Information Architects, a an SGML/XML consulting firm, and was a pre- and post-sales engineer at Agfa.


Dov Isaacs

Adobe Systems, Inc.

Dov Isaacs is a Principal Scientist in his eighteenth year at Adobe Systems Incorporated. He has responsibility for workflow and product interoperability issues associated with print publishing workflow products as well as serving as the "spiritual venture capitalist" for the Adobe PDF Print Engine technology. Additionally, he monitors numerous InDesign, FrameMaker, PDF, VDP, prepress, and printing mailing lists and on-line forums, not only contributing advice and solutions, especially in the area of printing and PDF creation, but also using the issues raised and problems identified as feedback for Adobe product development. Previously, Dov founded Adobe's corporate Product Interoperability Group and also served in other engineering and marketing management positions within Adobe including serving seven years as Director of Quality Assurance for Adobe's PostScript printing products and drivers.


Angie Okamoto

Angie Okamoto is the Director of Training at Tech Ed Solutions in Nebraska. She has been in the technology training industry for over seven years. Angie is an Adobe Certified Expert, an Adobe Certified Instructor and a Master Level Microsoft Office Specialist. She specializes in Adobe Acrobat, Adobe LiveCycle and PDF forms. Angie has provided technology training and consulting for hundreds of businesses throughout the United States and is a frequent speaker for various business associations and technology events.


Ted Padova

Ted Padova is a well-known PDF guru and the author of more than 25 computer books, the most recent include: Adobe Creative Suite Bible (Wiley Publishing) versions 1, 2 & 3, and Adobe Acrobat PDF Bible (Wiley Publishing) versions 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 and Adobe Reader 7 Revealed (Peachpit Press).


Victoria "Vicky" Richards

Over the years, Vicky has worked as a graphic artist for various State and Federal agencies in a diversity of disciplines related to design and print. Using InDesign since its introduction, her knowledge and proficiency has evolved exponentially with every new version. She currently works in the Communications Department of the Social Security Administration, creating accessible publications for the Web in 15 languages.


Leonard Rosenthol

Adobe Systems, Inc.

Leonard Rosenthol has recently returned to Adobe Systems as the PDF Standards Evangelist. He comes back to Adobe following over 10 years of involvement in the PDF world. During that time he worked as the Director of Software Development for Appligent, and the Chief Innovation Officer for Apago, while also running the successful consulting business of PDF Sages. Before becoming involved in PDF, Leonard was the Director of Advanced Technology for Aladdin Systems and responsible for the development of the StuffIt line of products.


Russell Viers

Russell Viers is an Adobe Certified Instructor in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator who specializes in print production. He has spent the past 25 years of his career using the technology of the day, starting with CompuGraphic, then PageMaker, then XPress, prior to using InDesign. He travels the globe teaching newspaper and print production professionals who to get the most from the software. The slogan of his company DIGIVersity.TV is "You work too hard and I'm here to fix it."


Steve Werner

Steve Werner is a trainer, consultant, and co-author (with David Blatner and Christopher Smith) of InDesign for QuarkXPress Users. He has worked in the graphic arts industry for . He has worked in the graphic arts industry for . He has worked in the graphic arts industry for more than 20 years and was the training manager for ten years at Rapid Lasergraphics. He has taught computer graphics classes since 1988.


Brian Wood

Brian Wood, Director of Training and Co-Owner of eVolve Computer Graphics Training, is an Adobe Creative Suite 2 Master (certified in InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator and GoLive), and the author of InDesign CS2 Hands-On-Training, published by Peachpit Press, as well as InDesign and Illustrator CS2 video titles for Lynda.com. In addition to training eVolvešs many clients, Brian has spoken at events hosted by GAG, AIGA, STC, XEROX, CASE and other organizations.
