| 9:00am - 4:30pm | DreamWeaver Fundamentals Chris Converse Morning: This session will introduce you to Adobe Dreamweaver CS3, as well as the principles of HTML, CSS, and CSS-based layout. We will start by creating a Dreamweaver site project, then we’ll format content, create links, insert images, and even add in a Dreamweaver JavaScript behaviors, all using Dreamweaver’s WYSIWYG interface. In addition, you will be introduced to what JavaScript is, as well as gain an understanding of the difference between a static and a dynamic web pages.
Afternoon: This session is geared toward the designer who wants to take their basic understanding of HTML and CSS to create a fully working website. Experience award-winning designer Chris Converse as he takes you on a journey from a Photoshop design comp to a complete 4-page website. This session will introduce you to a workflow based on Photoshop and Dreamweaver, and cover topics such as creating CSS-based layouts (from scratch!), making templates, adding graphics and image maps, formatting content in HTML, using site management, and many more tidbits.
