David Blatner is a consultant specializing in InDesign, QuarkXPress and Photoshop. Diane Burns is one of the pioneers in electronic publishing, and in 1984 founded TechArt International. TechArt was one of the first Macintosh-based design firms in the country and today is one of the leading firms for print and web design specializing in East Asian languages. She has presented publishing courses and seminars for Stanford University, MacWorld Expo and Seybold Seminars in both the United States and Japan, and is the author of many articles and several books on publishing, including The QuarkXPress Handbook (Hungry Minds/Wiley Publishing, Inc.).
After a long career in advertising, Sandee Cohen began teaching computer graphics thirteen years ago. She has taught for New York University, New School University, the University of Hawaii, City College in New York, as well as many private organizations. A dynamic and entertaining speaker, she has been a frequent participant at Seybold Seminars, Macworld Expo, and Thunder Lizard events. She is the co-author of Acrobat 5 Master Class as well as author of books on InDesign, Fireworks, FreeHand, Illustrator, and desktop publishing.
Tim Cole is Adobe's senior InDesign evangelist. In 1998, Tim began working with InDesign developers and product management, prior to the release of version 1.0. He currently evangelizes InDesign and other Adobe products and technologies to newspaper, magazine, ad agency and other markets. Prior to his current position, Tim worked in tech support and technical training at Aldus for six years, wrote for Aldus Magazine, and also spent three years working for internet technology startups. Tim's current primary focus are InDesign features and techniques, and he's spent the last 5 years introducing publishers to InDesign and its superior tool set.
Anne-Marie "HerGeekness" Concepción is an accomplished design studio owner, consultant, trainer, author and speaker on all things related to digital design and production. Her Chicago-based firm Seneca Design & Training creates print, web and interactive PDF projects for clients including the Joyce Foundation, the International Housewares Show and LobsterGram. Olav Martin Kvern is an award-winning illustrator, graphic designer, software developer, and writer. Jim Maivald is a graphic designer and consultant who has over 25-years’ experience in design, and 20-years’ experience in computer-based design and publishing. Claudia McCue incorporates more than 20 years of traditional and digital prepress production experience in her current incarnation as a consultant and trainer for the graphic arts industry. She is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, and has been fond of InDesign since it was known as "K2."

Jamie McKee, as owner of MacKey Composition, has been designing and typesetting books for over 10 years, working for such clients as Indiana University Press, Duke University Press, Vanderbilt University Press, Zondervan, and Tentatio Press. He also teaches InDesign, Illustrator, and general typography and graphic design classes at Kellogg Community College. Jamie served as a technical editor for the InDesign "Against the Clock" series of training books from Prentice Hall and has been using InDesign since its first release.

Chris Murphy is president of Color Remedies, specializing in worldwide training and consulting in emerging color technologies, and is the co-author of "Real World Color Management," from Peachpit Press. He has extensive experience in implementing color management workflows, and has spoken at many conferences, including Seybold Seminars. He has been involved in computers & technology for twenty years, and as a professional trainer for the past nine years. Terry White has been with Adobe for almost a decade, and has extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite product line. In his current position as Technical Resources Manager for North America, he leads a team of applications engineers who focus on professional publishing, web authoring, and digital video. Terry has been active in the industry for almost 20 years, and he is the founder and president of MacGroup-Detroit. He is also a columnist for Layers Magazine, and author of the InDesign Personal Seminar and the co-author, with Scott Kelby, of InDesign Killer Tips.
Robin Williams is the author or co-author of many bestselling computer books, including The Mac is not a typewriter, The Little Mac Book, and The Non-Designers Design Book. Robin produces her own books -- 52 award-winning books at last count -- including copy, design, layout, indexing, tables of contents. She loves massive quantities of text. Robin has been a speaker for many years at all sorts of conferences, a writer for all sorts of magazines, and has written and produced all sorts of books.
Mike Witherell is a graphic designer and well-known trainer/consultant in the Washington DC area. He has over 25 years of experience in the publishing industry using computer applications for design and production of book and magazine projects. Students may draw on his years of cross-platform experience in digital prepress and print management. He is ACE-certified in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
