David Blatner is a consultant specializing in InDesign, QuarkXPress and Photoshop. After a career in advertising, Sandee Cohen began teaching computer graphics over sixteen years ago. She has taught for New York University, New School University, the University of Hawaii, City College in New York, as well as many private organizations. She is the co-author of Real World Creative Suite 2, which covers how all the applications in the Creative Suite work together. Anne-Marie "HerGeekness" Concepción is an accomplished design studio owner, consultant, trainer, author and speaker on all things related to digital design and production. Her Chicago-based firm Seneca Design & Training creates print, web and interactive PDF projects for clients including the Joyce Foundation, the International Housewares Show and LobsterGram. Rufus Deuchler is a communication designer who has always been fascinated by technology that makes creation easier. In 2002, after many years of freelancing as a graphic artist specializing in editorial and corporate design, Rufus was asked by Adobe Italy to become 'cross-media guru' and help spread the word around the country. This new activity brought him to evangelize the Creative Suite and Adobe solutions to the creative pro market; he now provides consulting and training on Adobe software and workflows to major publishing companies in Italy. He has authored interactive courses, writes for specialized publishing magazines, webmasters the first InDesign User Group in Italy and still collaborates very frequently with Adobe on many projects. Olav Martin Kvern is an award-winning illustrator, graphic designer, software developer, and writer. Claudia McCue incorporates more than 20 years of traditional and digital prepress production experience in her current incarnation as a consultant, trainer, and author devoted to the graphic arts industry. Branislav Milic is one of Europe's most acclaimed InDesign gurus. Based in Brussels, Branislav is a freelance columnist and journalist for many web sites and magazines, and is known as an experienced DTP operator and editor of the only website completely dedicated to InDesign (since version 1.0 in September, 1999) : milic.net/indesign. Branislav is also an Adobe Certified Expert and Instructor in Acrobat 7.0 Professional, Illustrator CS2, InDesign CS2, Photoshop CS2 and his training center in Brussels is an Adobe Authorized Training Center. Due to the current InDesign frenzy among pressgroups, institutions, and agencies, he works as a full time consultant and trainer in a dozen European countries.
Michael Ninness moved to Seattle in 1989 to study for a Graphic Design BFA at the University of Washington. He paid his way through design school by teaching professional designers and photographers digital imaging tools and techniques. He also has over seven years experience in the graphics software industry as a product manager and user interface designer of products for creative professionals at Extensis, Microsoft, and Adobe. In early 2005, Michael returned to his training roots and joined the team at Lynda.com, an award-winning education provider of self-paced online video training, CD-ROMs, books and events for creative professionals. He is the author of several training videos including Photoshop Power Shortcuts and Photoshop CS2 Essential Training.

Thomas Phinney is involved in the technical, design, historical, forensic and business aspects of type, as well as working closely with other font developers and customers. His typeface "Hypatia Sans" is an upcoming Adobe Originals release. Thomas started doing desktop publishing in 1987, and got hooked on typography shortly thereafter. He has worked with Adobe's type group for nine years, currently as program manager for fonts and SING technologies, based in Seattle. Thomas has a Master's degree in typography and design from RIT, and an MBA from UC Berkeley.

Brought up in Southampton, England, by the mid-70s he was ready to leap across the Atlantic to New Jersey, where he still lives. In the mid-80s, during the demise of the minicomputer industry, he crossed paths with PageMaker version 1.2, and in 1990, he and his eagle-eyed wife, Pam, launched their own business, PDS Associates. They specialize in automating publishing processes and have pumped out a seemingly endless series of textbooks using PageMaker and now InDesign with workflows built around extensive suites of scripts that Dave created to overcome the tediousness of staring at pages all day. He seized the opportunity to go cross-platform by embracing InDesign CS's JavaScript as his scripting language of choice. Thanks to his role as a host of the Adobe InDesign User-to-User forums, he is probably the best-known JavaScripter of InDesign in the world.

Peter Truskier is co-owner of Premedia Systems, Inc. With over 30 years experience in the graphic arts, his current work includes providing technical support to print service providers as well as software development and workflow automation.

Russell Viers is an Adobe Certified Instructor in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator who specializes in print production. He has spent the past 25 years of his career using the technology of the day, starting with CompuGraphic, then PageMaker, then XPress, prior to using InDesign.
