David Blatner is the author of 15 books on topics such as InDesign, Photoshop, and QuarkXPress -- including Real World InDesign, InDesign Breakthroughs, and Real World Photoshop. He is the co-host of InDesignSecrets.com, the editorial director of InDesign Magazine and The InDesign Conference, and a contributing editor to CreativePro.com. Diane Burns is one of the pioneers in electronic publishing, and in 1984 founded TechArt International. TechArt was one of the first Macintosh-based design firms in the country and today is one of the leading firms for print and web design specializing in East Asian languages. She is an Adobe Authorized Instructor and the author of several books and many articles on publishing. She is a frequent contributor to InDesign Magazine.
Scott Citron is an award-winning graphic designer and principal of Scott Citron Design in New York City. SCD clients include Adobe Systems, Random House, HarperCollins, Insider Software, Walker & Company, the Brandeis-Bardin Institute, and Black Dog & Leventhal Publishers. Scott is also a member of the Art Directors Club and a founding member and current chair of the New York InDesign Users' Group. Scott has taught graphic design at The New School, Parsons School of Design, NYU, The Cooper Union, and Fashion Institute of Technology and is an Adobe Certified Instructor in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Currently he's writing a book for Adobe Press to be published in early fall of this year.
After a long career in advertising, Sandee Cohen began teaching computer graphics in 1990. She has taught for New York University, New School University, the University of Hawaii, City College in New York, as well as many private organizations. A dynamic and entertaining speaker, she has been a frequent participant at Barrycon events such as the InDesign and Creative Suite conferences, and Macworld Expo. She is the author of all versions of the InDesign Visual Quickstart Guide as well as co-author of Real World Adobe Creative Suite 2. Tim Cole is Adobe's senior InDesign evangelist. In 1998, Tim began working with InDesign developers and product management, prior to the release of version 1.0. He currently evangelizes InDesign and other Adobe products and technologies to newspaper, magazine, ad agency and other markets. Prior to his current position, Tim worked in tech support and technical training at Aldus for six years, wrote for Aldus Magazine, and also spent three years working for internet technology startups. Tim's current primary focus are InDesign features and techniques, and he's spent the last 5 years introducing publishers to InDesign and its superior tool set.
Anne-Marie "HerGeekness" Concepción is an accomplished design studio owner, consultant, trainer, author and speaker on all things related to digital design and production. Her Chicago-based firm Seneca Design & Training creates print, web and interactive PDF projects for clients including the Joyce Foundation, the International Housewares Show and LobsterGram. Anne-Marie is also a seasoned Adobe and Quark authorized trainer with clients across the country, recently helping BBDO, McDougal Littel, Loyola Press, Playboy Enterprises and McDonalds Corp. move to Adobe InDesign, often helping them incorporate Adobe InCopy as well. Gary Cosimini joined Adobe as its first Business Development Manager in 1992, responsible for the introduction of Acrobat to the publishing industry. Mr. Cosimini currently serves as a liaison between Adobe and its customers in the professional publishing community. Gary joined Adobe after a 16-year career at the New York Times, most recently as senior art director. At the newspaper, he led the transition from traditional editorial imaging to computer-based methods that took advantage of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and networked PostScript output. He also played a key role in the transition from film to digital news photography and the adoption of JPEG photo compression. While at The New York Times, he was a member of a team that won a Pulitzer Prize for explanatory journalism in 1985.
Noha has more than 20 years experience in the Pre-press and graphics market. In the early 90's, Noha operated her own training and consulting business, and managed the Educational Services Department at Essex Computers. As an instructor at Parson's School of Design in NYC, Noha taught Illustrator, Photoshop, and Quark XPress. Noha joined Adobe Systems the summer of 1996. Currently, as Business Development Manager, it is her responsibility to evangelize and promote Adobe's next generation publishing tools. Noha is an Adobe Certified Expert in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, PageMaker and Acrobat.

Marco Galiazzo is an Adobe Certified Expert in Photoshop, Golive, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, and FrameMaker, and has a wide knowledge about digital communication. He teaches Digital Imaging, Cross Media Publishing, and Web Design as a free-lance instructor, and writes for a major Italian magazine "Applicando." His first pioneering book is "Guida al cross-media publishing" (Cross-media publishing guide) and the present primary focus is the implementation of an effective use of XML in the publishing flow. He has spent the last 2 years working on small and medium enterprise knowledge reengineering projects based on XML and Adobe products.
Mordy Golding, an Adobe Certified Expert and Adobe Certified Print Specialist, has served as a hands-on trainer and has spoken at worldwide events and seminars including Macworld, Seybold, NAB, and PhotoshopWorld. His books include the soon-to-be-released Real World Illustrator CS, SAMS Teach Yourself Adobe Creative Suite All in One, The Web Designer's Guide to Color and SAMS Teach Yourself Adobe Illustrator in 24 Hours. Olav Martin Kvern is an award-winning illustrator, graphic designer, software developer, and writer. He is the author of Real World Adobe InDesign, Real World FreeHand, and the coauthor of the groundbreaking Real World PageMaker. He is currently the InDesign scripting guru on the Adobe Development Technologies team.
Claudia McCue incorporates more than 20 years of traditional and digital prepress production experience in her current incarnation as a consultant and trainer for the graphic arts industry. Branislav Milic is one of Europe's most acclaimed InDesign gurus. Based in Brussels, Branislav is a freelance columnist and journalist for many web sites and magazines, and is known as an experienced DTP operator and editor of the only website completely dedicated to InDesign (since version 1.0 in September, 1999) : milic.net/indesign. Branislav is also an Adobe Certified Expert and Instructor in Acrobat 7.0 Professional, Illustrator CS2, InDesign CS2, Photoshop CS2 and his training center in Brussels is an Adobe Authorized Training Center. Due to the current InDesign frenzy among pressgroups, institutions, and agencies, he works as a full time consultant and trainer in a dozen European countries.
Chris Murphy is president of Color Remedies, specializing in worldwide training and consulting in emerging color technologies, and is the co-author of "Real World Color Management," from Peachpit Press. He has extensive experience in implementing color management workflows, and has spoken at many conferences, including Seybold Seminars. He has been involved in computers & technology for twenty years, and as a professional trainer for the past nine years. Some people believe he has extra-sensory vision, but he assures us that he does not.

Michael Murphy is the creator and host of The InDesigner video podcast at InDesignSecrets.com. A graphic designer with nearly 20 years experience, Michael has crossed the line between design, production, and software training throughout his career. Currently the art director for a national monthly trade magazine, Michael is an Adobe Certified Expert in InDesign CS2 who has written for InDesign Magazine and presented before the New York and Milwuakee InDesign User Groups.

Mira Rubin has been training Adobe and Macromedia products full-time since the dawn of the new millenium. With a degree in Fine Arts from Alfred University and always passionately creative, she turned her talents from sculpture and traditional photography to the digital realm in 1995 and never looked back. Originally immersed in web technologies Mira is also an Adobe Print Specialist and Adobe Certified Instructor. She launched Mira Images, a Philadelphia-based Adobe Authorized Training Center and consultancy (www.miraimages.com) in 2002 and has inspired reckless pursuit of all things Adobe in countless clients and students ever since. Brought up in Southampton, England, by the mid-70s he was ready to leap across the Atlantic to New Jersey, where he still lives. In the mid-80s, during the demise of the minicomputer industry, he crossed paths with PageMaker version 1.2, and in 1990, he and his eagle-eyed wife, Pam, launched their own business, PDS Associates. They specialize in automating publishing processes and have pumped out a seemingly endless series of textbooks using PageMaker and now InDesign with workflows built around extensive suites of scripts that Dave created to overcome the tediousness of staring at pages all day. He seized the opportunity to go cross-platform by embracing InDesign CS's JavaScript as his scripting language of choice. Thanks to his role as a host of the Adobe InDesign User-to-User forums, he is probably the best-known JavaScripter of InDesign in the world.

James, Senior Training Specialist, Sells Printing Company, is an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) Print Specialist with over 16 years of experience in the graphic arts industry. James provides training and technical support for Sells' customers as well as its prepress department. James has been working with Adobe InDesign prior to the release of version 1.0, and is an InDesign instructor at Waukesha County Technical College.
Brian Wood, Director of Training and Co-Owner of eVolve Computer Graphics Training, is an Adobe Creative Suite 2 Master (certified in InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator and GoLive), and the author of InDesign CS2 Hands-On-Training, published by Peachpit Press, as well as InDesign and Illustrator CS2 video titles for Lynda.com.
