David Blatner

David Blatner is the author of 15 books on topics such as InDesign, Photoshop, and QuarkXPress -- including Real World InDesign, InDesign Breakthroughs, and Real World Photoshop. Diane Burns

Diane Burns is one of the pioneers in electronic publishing, and in 1984 founded TechArt International. TechArt was one of the first Macintosh-based design firms in the country and today is one of the leading firms for print and web design specializing in East Asian languages. She is an Adobe Authorized Instructor and the author of several books and many articles on publishing. She is a frequent contributor to InDesign Magazine.


Sandee Cohen

After a long career in advertising, Sandee Cohen began teaching computer graphics in 1990. She has taught for New York University, New School University, the University of Hawaii, City College in New York, as well as many private organizations. A dynamic and entertaining speaker, she has been a frequent participant at Barrycon events such as the InDesign and Creative Suite conferences, and Macworld Expo. Tim Cole

Tim Cole is Adobe's senior InDesign evangelist. In 1998, Tim began working with InDesign developers and product management, prior to the release of version 1.0. He currently evangelizes InDesign and other Adobe products and technologies to newspaper, magazine, ad agency and other markets. Prior to his current position, Tim worked in tech support and technical training at Aldus for six years, wrote for Aldus Magazine, and also spent three years working for internet technology startups. Tim's current primary focus are InDesign features and techniques, and he's spent the last 5 years introducing publishers to InDesign and its superior tool set.


Anne-Marie Concepcion

Anne-Marie "HerGeekness" Concepcion is an accomplished design studio owner, consultant, trainer, author and speaker on all things related to digital design and production. Her Chicago-based firm Seneca Design & Training creates print, web and interactive PDF projects for clients including the Joyce Foundation, the International Housewares Show and LobsterGram. Anne-Marie is also a seasoned Adobe and Quark authorized trainer with clients across the country, recently helping BBDO, McDougal Littel, Loyola Press, Playboy Enterprises and McDonalds Corp. move to Adobe InDesign, often helping them incorporate Adobe InCopy as well. Kacey Crouch

Design? Technology? Education? Why not embrace it all! Kacey Crouch is an Adobe Certified Trainer that just can't stop at that. Formally trained in graphic design, Kacey identified a large gap in the industry in regard to technology. With amazing and powerful tools at her fingertips, she decided to focus on helping others understand and embrace the capabilities of design software.

Kacey trains internationally for Adobe products. She also art directs several publications, writes for well-known design magazines, and speaks at industry conferences.


Mordy Golding

Mordy Golding, an Adobe Certified Expert and Adobe Certified Print Specialist, has served as a hands-on trainer and has spoken at worldwide events and seminars including Macworld, Seybold, NAB, and PhotoshopWorld. His books include the soon-to-be-released Real World Illustrator CS, SAMS Teach Yourself Adobe Creative Suite All in One, The Web Designer's Guide to Color and SAMS Teach Yourself Adobe Illustrator in 24 Hours. Dov Isaacs

Dov Isaacs is a Principal Scientist in his eighteenth year at Adobe Systems Incorporated. He has responsibility for workflow and product interoperability issues associated with print publishing workflow products as well as serving as the "spiritual venture capitalist" for the Adobe PDF Print Engine technology. Additionally, he monitors numerous InDesign, FrameMaker, PDF, VDP, prepress, and printing mailing lists and on-line forums, not only contributing advice and solutions, especially in the area of printing and PDF creation, but also using the issues raised and problems identified as feedback for Adobe product development. Previously, Dov founded Adobe's corporate Product Interoperability Group and also served in other engineering and marketing management positions within Adobe including serving seven years as Director of Quality Assurance for Adobe's PostScript printing products and drivers.


Olav Martin Kvern

Olav Martin Kvern is an award-winning illustrator, graphic designer, software developer, and writer. He is the author of Real World Adobe InDesign, Real World FreeHand, and the coauthor of the groundbreaking Real World PageMaker. He is currently the InDesign scripting guru on the Adobe Development Technologies team.


Ted LoCascio

Ted LoCascio is a professional graphic designer and an expert in Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, InDesign, Illustrator, and QuarkXPress. He served as senior designer at KW Media and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP) for several years, and has created layouts and designs for many successful software training books, videos, and magazines. Jim Maivald

Jim Maivald is a graphic designer and consultant who has over 25-years' experience in design, and 20-years' experience in computer-based design and publishing. Claudia McCue incorporates more than 20 years of traditional and digital prepress production experience in her current incarnation as a consultant and trainer for the graphic arts industry. Branislav Milic

Branislav Milic is one of Europe's most acclaimed InDesign gurus. Based in Brussels, Branislav is a freelance columnist and journalist for many web sites and magazines, and is known as an experienced DTP operator and editor of the only website completely dedicated to InDesign (since version 1.0 in September, 1999) : milic.net/indesign. Michael Murphy

Michael Murphy is the creator and host of The InDesigner video podcast at InDesignSecrets.com. A graphic designer with nearly 20 years experience, Michael has crossed the line between design, production, and software training throughout his career. Currently the art director for a national monthly trade magazine, Michael is an Adobe Certified Expert in InDesign CS2 who has written for InDesign Magazine and presented before the New York and Milwuakee InDesign User Groups.


Jay Nelson

For more than 15 years, Jay Nelson has been the editor and publisher of Design Tools Monthly, the executive summary of graphic design news. He contributes regularly to several magazines and websites, and co-hosts the Design Tools Weekly podcast. He is also a popular speaker at conferences, including Macworld, Graph Expo, CRE8, and the HOW Design conference. Michael Ninness

Michael Ninness moved to Seattle in 1989 to study for a Graphic Design BFA at the University of Washington. He paid his way through design school by teaching professional designers and photographers digital imaging tools and techniques. He also has over seven years experience in the graphics software industry as a product manager and user interface designer of products for creative professionals at Extensis, Microsoft, and Adobe. In early 2005, Michael returned to his training roots and joined the team at Lynda.com, an award-winning education provider of self-paced online video training, CD-ROMs, books and events for creative professionals. He is the author of several training videos including Photoshop Power Shortcuts and Photoshop CS2 Essential Training.


Eddie Tapp

Eddie Tapp is an award-winning photographer, lecturer, consultant, and author on digital imaging issues. With over 20 years of experience in computer technology, Eddie has been actively involved in educating and consulting corporations, studios and agencies in the applications of digital imaging workflow, color management, pre-press and digital photography globally through workshops, seminars, on-site consulting and training. He's the author of Photoshop Workflow Setups and Practical Color Management (O'Reilly Media). Eddie is Director of the Institute of Visual Arts in Maui, Hawaii, an Explorer of Light and Print Master with Canon USA, and is on the Photoshop “Dream Team” with National Association of Photoshop Professional where he was recently inducted into the “Photoshop Hall of Fame”.


Russell Viers

Russell Viers is an Adobe Certified Instructor in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator who specializes in print production. He has spent the past 25 years of his career using the technology of the day, starting with CompuGraphic, then PageMaker, then XPress, prior to using InDesign. He travels the globe teaching newspaper and print production professionals who to get the most from the software. The slogan of his company DIGIVersity.TV is "You work too hard and I'm here to fix it."


Brian Wood

Brian Wood, Director of Training and Co-Owner of eVolve Computer Graphics Training, is an Adobe Creative Suite 2 Master (certified in InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator and GoLive), and the author of InDesign CS2 Hands-On-Training, published by Peachpit Press, as well as InDesign and Illustrator CS2 video titles for Lynda.com. In addition to training eVolve%uFFFDs many clients, Brian has spoken at events hosted by GAG, AIGA, STC, XEROX, CASE and other organizations.
