Sandee Cohen

After a long career in advertising, Sandee Cohen began teaching computer graphics in 1990. She has taught for New York University, New School University, the University of Hawaii, City College in New York, as well as many private organizations. A dynamic and entertaining speaker, she has been a frequent participant at Barrycon events such as the InDesign and Creative Suite conferences, and Macworld Expo. She is the author of all versions of the InDesign Visual Quickstart Guide as well as co-author of Real World Adobe Creative Suite 2. She has also written books on Fireworks, FreeHand, Illustrator, and desktop publishing.

Noha Edell

Noha has more than 20 years experience in the Pre-press and graphics market. In the early 90's, Noha operated her own training and consulting business, and managed the Educational Services Department at Essex Computers. As an instructor at Parson's School of Design in NYC, Noha taught Illustrator, Photoshop, and Quark XPress. Noha joined Adobe Systems the summer of 1996. Currently, as Business Development Manager, it is her responsibility to evangelize and promote Adobe's next generation publishing tools. Noha is an Adobe Certified Expert in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, PageMaker and Acrobat.

Jim Maivald

Jim Maivald is a graphic designer and consultant who has over 25-years' experience in design, and 20-years' experience in computer-based design and publishing. Jim teaches for Ascend Training, in addition to other clients around the country such as Purina, WorldBook, Grainger and others. He is an Adobe Certified Expert, and teaches InDesign, XML, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat. His course in XML and InDesign has been groundbreaking in bringing the publishing and web development fields together. Jim is the the author of Designer’s Guide to Adobe InDesign and XML and Photoshop Complete, and was the Technical Editor for Personal Publishing/Business Publishing magazine, and the Editor of Design Graphics World Magazine. Claudia McCue incorporates more than 20 years of traditional and digital prepress production experience in her current incarnation as a consultant and trainer for the graphic arts industry. Claudia's company, Practicalia LLC (http://www.practicalia.net), provides custom onsite training for a national client base of design firms, publications, printing companies and marketing professionals. She is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, and has been fond of InDesign since it was known as "K2."

Michael Murphy

Michael Murphy is the creator and host of The InDesigner video podcast at InDesignSecrets.com. A graphic designer with nearly 20 years experience, Michael has crossed the line between design, production, and software training throughout his career. Michael Ninness is the InDesign Senior Product Manager. He moved to Seattle in 1989 to study for a Graphic Design BFA at the University of Washington and fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. He paid his way through design school by teaching designers and photographers how to use digital tools and techniques. Michael has over ten years experience as a product manager and user interface designer of software products for creative professionals. Past positions include LiveMotion Group Product Manager and Senior User Interaction Designer for the Creative Suite 3 at Adobe, and Program Manager for Expression Blend at Microsoft. Michael is a frequent and top-rated presenter at numerous industry events and conferences, and has authored several Photoshop video training titles published by Lynda.com.

Greg Pisocky

Greg Pisocky is a member of Adobe's accessibility team focusing on techniques authors can use in Adobe tools for developing accessible content for those with disabilities.  He also provides assistance and advice to government agencies and other organizations seeking to fulfill Section 508 requirements.  He has spoken at numerous conferences and events on the topic of preparing and producing accessible electronic documents. A graduate of Carnegie-Mellon University, Pisocky has been with Adobe for over 16 years and has been in the IT industry for over 27 years.

Victoria "Vicky" Richards

Vicky has worked as a graphic artist for various State and Federal agencies in a diversity of disciplines related to design and print. Using InDesign since its introduction, her knowledge and proficiency has evolved exponentially with every new version. She currently works in the Communications Department of the Social Security Administration, creating accessible publications for the Web in 16 languages.
