"Is there any way to customize bar charts in Illustrator? I find it funny that Microsoft has more options than Adobe does? I need to change the width of my bars, get rid of the axis, tick marks ... basically I just want to have nice clean bars ... any way I can do this without ungrouping and losing my data entry capabilities?"

Nice - can never get enough on Graphs in Illustrator. Looking forward to part 2 (3, 4...).

FYI: One of the best on-line tutorials I ever saw is: http://www.modernlifeisrubbish.co.uk/article/howto-make-pretty-pie-charts

Check it out for placing images into pie-wedges. Taught me a great deal about graphs and other operations in Illustrator.
